Ricoh set to impress the production printing industry
Wednesday 03. June 2009 - Ricoh is drastically stepping up its industry credentials at this months PacPrint, taking on the printing of the new PacPrint Daily and becoming a patron at the National Print Awards.
Ricoh is teaming up with Haymarket Media, publisher of ProPrint magazine, for a new daily show paper, PacPrint Daily, at next months PacPrint exhibition. As the exclusive Gold Sponsor, Ricoh will print the daily 5,000 run PacPrint Daily on 26th May using their flagship production colour engine, the Pro C900.
Handed out to all delegates, PacPrint Daily will run stories from light-hearted insider accounts to relevant, leading business news as well as latest exhibitor updates and special offers. It will be written, designed and printed on the exhibition floor during the event with all content and design to be done by ProPrint, who has been awarded the exclusive rights to publish the first ever daily newspaper at PacPrint.

The idea of an exhibition-specific daily newspaper was first developed and used at last years Drupa. Carmen Ciappara, National Sales Manager for ProPrint said “The PacPrint Daily will be the most high-profile promotional activity at this years event. Were ecstatic that Ricoh has chosen this new medium to show off the capabilities of their production range.”
As well as becoming newspaper printer for a day, Ricoh are proud to announce their patronage at the prestigious 2009 National Print Awards. The annual awards dinner and presentation ceremony have been set to coincide with PacPrint.
