Ricoh welcomes Kathy Wilson, General Manager – Business Solutions and Production

Wednesday 24. December 2008 - Ricoh Australia has appointed Kathy Wilson to the position of General Manager - Business Solutions and Production. It is the first major appointment by their new managing director, Les Richardson, since he took the helm in September.

This new role will be responsible for development and growth of the strategically important areas of Business Solutions and Production Printing.
Wilson has spent the past eight years working in San Francisco, USA for the leading printing industry solutions company EFI where her most recent role was Senior Director, Product Marketing and Strategy. While in this position she used her skills as a strategist to maintain consistent growth and market leadership.
“Kathy was a natural choice for this newly created position. She is a strategic thinker who has demonstrated passion and innovation throughout her career, qualities that will be critical to the development of the strategically important growth areas of Business Solutions and Production Printing.” said Richardson.
Richardson established and spearheaded the Business Solutions Group as the tactical leader and has helped Ricoh transition from an office equipment vendor to an organisation that has the capability to develop tailored document workflow solutions for its clients.
“EFI is a strategic business partner with Ricoh – therefore Kathy already has a strong understanding of the business and our focus on providing solutions that invoke new efficiencies and cost reductions for clients,” Richardson said.
Prior to working for EFI, Wilson has worked for Canon Australia and Heidelberg Australia in various sales and managerial roles where she specialised in graphic systems and production printing.
