Wednesday 15. July 2009 - M&H Plastics is delighted to have worked in partnership with Lumisphere Products to manufacture polycarbonate globes for their Low Voltage Festoon Lighting Systems.
The Lumisphere Low Voltage Festoon System is designed to provide a safe, low energy and low maintenance modern system for use in the most harsh of environmental conditions including areas of high humidity and complete saturation in saline water such as foreshore applications.
These globes are used in a wide range of applications including Blackpool Tower, Euro Disney Paris, the Aurora Liner, Harrods and Albert Bridge. Foreshore installations include Portsmouth, Felixstowe and Brighton. They also feature in shopping malls in Dubai and Spain and many other high-profile projects throughout the world where high quality and reliability is a pre requisite.
The globes are made from Polycarbonate UV and flame retardant grade material and were custom moulded specifically for Lumisphere Products. M&H custom moulding service includes:

In-house toolmaking
Complete project management
Martyn Magee of M&H Plastics said: M&H works with a wide range of end users but this is one of our more unusual projects. We do have a range of over 1,000 standard products but it is always exciting to work on custom moulding of exclusive designs and especially ones that have such a high profile.
