STAY COOL WITH THE WOTTLE!

Monday 18. August 2008 - M&H Plastics and BRITA have worked in partnership with world-class designer Orla Kiely to create The Wottle - a unique designer water bottle which took just one week from concept to completion.

Orla Kiely has an immediately recognisable design language developed through the use of original graphic patterns, and achieves a cool freshness through her use of colour and pattern creating instant appeal.

M&H worked alongside BRITA and Orla Kiely to produce this stunningly different custom moulded 500ml HDPE water bottle featuring one of Orla’s distinctive graphic patterns. This was brought to fruition in just one week including multi-pass silk screen printing to achieve the intricate colours of the design.

M&H Plastics is one of the premier suppliers of plastic components and manufactures bottles, caps, jars and flexible tubes for many end uses including personal care, healthcare, pharmaceutical, food plus many other market sectors where style and quality are critical to a product’s success.

Shaun Catchpole of M&H Plastics said:
‘M&H is constantly working on new innovations which help provide a point-of-difference in an increasingly competitive marketplace. This exclusive bespoke product provides a key differentiator demonstrating that custom moulded products can be brought to market extremely fast.’

Neal Jones of BRITA said:
As the leading provider of great tasting drinking water in the home, the next step was for us to find an environmentally friendly solution that enabled people to drink BRITA filtered water on the move. Bringing together Orla Kiely’s design skills and M & H Plastics’ know-how provided a perfect springboard to bring this concept idea to life.

The Wottle will be available in the UK from middle August and visit www.brita.co.uk/wottle for stockist details
