WRH MARKETING UK AND NORPAK SIGN DEALERSHIP AGREEMENT

(L-R) WRH Marketing UK sales manager Steven Lawton, MD Lee Whatmough, Norpak MD John Hewitt and WRH Marketing UK sales director Colin Marlow.

Thursday 14. January 2010 - WRH Marketing UK Ltd and Leeds manufacturer Norpak have signed an exclusive dealership agreement that will enable each company to sell a specific product range of the other. Norpak, which is a leading manufacturer of bespoke equipment for the direct mail market, will represent the Jobfolio range of feeding, strapping, stacking, wrapping and foiling machines, while WRH Marketing UK will take on a new and exclusive series of Norpak polywrapping and mailing systems.

“This is an important partnership because both companies have several products that are a perfect complement,” says Lee Whatmough, head of WRH Marketing UK. “In addition, Jobfolio is ideally suited to sectors in which Norpak is well established, such as direct mail. The new Norpak polywrapping and mailing systems will allow us to offer exciting opportunities to our customers in the newspaper, magazine and distribution sectors, and we’re looking forward to explaining these options at Ipex.”

Norpak’s owner and group managing director is John Hewitt. “We design, manufacture and install a wide range of equipment for direct mail finishing houses, from document processing, collating and envelope inserting to addressing and polywrapping,” says Mr Hewitt. “The Jobfolio series allows us to extend the processes we encompass so that customers can improve the cost effectiveness of their lines even further by automating additional functions.

“Efficiency is vital in today’s tough climate and automation enables greater productivity and accuracy, lower waste levels and manning and more flexibility. For example, the items that can be fed at high speed by a JobFeed unit are extensive. Jobfolio is a fantastic addition to the Norpak range and we’ll be demonstrating Jobfolio technology on our stand at Ipex.”

WRH Marketing UK and Norpak have agreed a strategic market driven approach to the new partnership. Cross training has already taken place and the alliance will utilize the service and spares facilities of both companies to provide the most effective support to customers.
