Theisen & Bonitz Appoints WRH Marketing UK for UK and Ireland

TB Sprint B 310 VP collator with stitch-fold-trim unit and three-knife trimmer

Friday 03. April 2009 - WRH Marketing UK Ltd has been appointed agent for UK and Ireland by German manufacturer Theisen & Bonitz, which produces a range of finishing machinery such as collators, stitch-fold-trim units, punching and numbering machines.

This latest agency win for WRH Marketing is part of the company’s expansion into the commercial web and sheet-fed sectors, areas in which the company is rapidly becoming an important supplier.

Theisen & Bonitz is a family run business, which employs around 60 people at its factory just outside Burscheid, north east of Cologne. The company’s TB Sprint and TB Flex ranges are some of the best known horizontal collators on the market and provide a wide selection of options, from eight to 30-stations with the ability to handle stock up to B2.

The collators have been designed to ensure ease of operation and high productivity, with features including a touch screen monitor and the latest electronic controls for uninterrupted running, plus a new integrated cover scorer. The speed has also been increased, and up to 4,200 B3 copies an hour or up to 7,000 A5 copies an hour in synchronized 1:2 mode can be collated on the latest TB Flex.

“Winning the Theisen & Bonitz agency for the UK and Ireland is extremely exciting for us because it represents a major addition to our product portfolio for the commercial sheet-fed arena,” says Alison Morris, sales director, trade. “Theisen & Bonitz collators attract a great deal of attention amongst sheet-fed printers looking for a highly efficient way of collating brochures, calendars, booklets etc.

“Other products from Theisen & Bonitz, such as its stitch/fold/trim units, punching and numbering machines, also provide the sheet-fed printer with an array of opportunities to improve productivity within the finishing department. The WRH Marketing UK name is already well established in the newspaper and commercial web markets and we believe it will increasingly be seen within the sheet-fed commercial sector during 2009.”
