An important milestone in the Tamedia project

Wednesday 15. October 2008 - Tamedia is a Swiss media company based in Zurich. With its portfolio of daily and weekly newspapers, magazines, online platforms, regional radio and TV stations as well as newspaper printing presses, Tamedia is one of Switzerland's leading media companies. The company was founded in 1893 and has been listed on the Swiss Exchange since 2000.

The companywide rollout of the alfa AdSuite Enterprise advertisement solution in September marked the conclusion of a key phase in the project, which saw advertisements in the “Tagblatt der Stadt Zürich” recorded and produced using alfa AdSuite Enterprise for the first time. In addition, the 80-page weekly newspaper was planned using alfa ProductPlanner and made up with alfa AdJust. The alfa ProductPlanner solution is the higher-level, controlling system for all other systems involved in newspaper production, while alfa AdJust offers efficient advertisement makeup in conjunction with production planning.

The next steps will see the media company switch its magazines over to alfa Media solutions. They will be followed by the daily newspapers during the first quarter of 2009.
