Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung selects alfa AdCounter for their on-line advertisement solution

Thursday 07. August 2008 - The Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung (Neue OZ) is a regional daily newspaper in the area of Osnabrück and Emsland in northwestern Germany. Neue OZ and its regional editions comprise one of the largest regional newspapers in Germany. Neue OZ has a daily circulation of 166,000 on weekdays and 183,000 on Saturday, in total Neue OZ reaches 452,000 readers on a daily basis.

Along with the Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung 7 regional editions are published, these are: Meller Kreisblatt, Wittlager Kreisblatt (Bad Essen), Bramscher Nachrichten, Bersenbrücker Kreisblatt, Lingener Tagespost, Meppener Tagespost und Ems-Zeitung (Papenburg). The main newspaper is printed in five local editions. Neue OZ is among Germany’s often quoted newspapers (Mediatenor 2006); its editorials and interviews being picked up by many other media outlets, due to this the paper is also well known on a national basis.


The Publishing house has selected alfa AdCounter to extend and enhance the service offered to their advertising customers. With alfa AdCounter it is possible to receive advertisements from clients directly via the Internet. The advertiser is able to create, format, book and pay for his advertisements whenever he chooses to do so.


The advertisers only requirement to fully utilize alfa AdCounter is to have an Internet Browser. Advertising solutions can be configured according to the publisher’s needs and requirements. It is also possible to implement different business models according to customer types or market categories. This new on-line solution is intended for businesses as well as private customers.
