New Layout for the Main-Echo

Friday 04. July 2008 - Aschaffenburger publishing house Main-Echo can with its 8 editions - Main-Echo Aschaffenburg, Main-Echo Alzenau, Main-Echo Obernburg, Main-Echo Marktheidenfeld, Wertheimer Zeitung, der Bote vom Untermain und Lohrer Echo - reach approximately a quarter of a million people in the Main area.

Main-Echo appeared for the first time in 1945 as a daily newspaper, today Main-Echo publishing house is a media company that brings its readers the latest news both on-line and in the printed version.

On April 5th 2008 Main-Echo appeared in a new layout – this as an answer to the constantly evolving media market and the thereby following changing requirements for the publishing houses. The reader quickly gets information about world affairs and regional news by the use of modern lay out and reader-friendly fonts together with clearly structured pages. A new color system show the user clear relationships between content and the individual sections this also makes the reading of Main-Echo much more pleasant and easy. The title-font of the paper that has been in use since 1949 have been replaced with a modern logo – a logo was designed from the previous font used in Main-Echo and still signals the responsibility for independent information in the region that Main-Echo has always represented.



Main-Echo have for many years entrusted their solutions to alfa Media and therefore the layout switch could be established in a straightforward way with the appropriate tools.
