Extended range of functions announced in AdSuite Enterprise – Version 2.6.2

Friday 08. August 2008 - The advertisement planning module alfa AdDispo has been updated to now provide a direct connection to alfa ProductPlanner. With this latest development, the advertising system functionality is extended substantially and allows the advertising management and work flow to be optimized significantly.

Through this connection to the alfa ProductPlanner, it is possible to organize and place ads previously created in alfa AdSuite Enterprise according to the customer’s requirements without any further intervention to reposition the ads. The process for handling free reservation of ads runs in the background and is automatic, placing them in fixed positions on pages. An ad-services rep can place or reposition ads manually using the graphical user-interface. The client will immediately get feedback whether his positioning requirements are possible – this vastly improves customer satisfaction and gives even more flexibility for the customer!

A further improvement in version 2.6.2 is the digital document folder. Through this feature it is possible to have both a contract and a content folder for photos, logos, videos, banners and miscellaneous documents all neatly arranged, so that it can be handled by staff in order processing administration. Data can be structured, sorted and be assigned to an order just like we know it from Microsoft Windows Explorer. Through this new functionality the ease of use and the visibility into the ad composition process is improved. The result is that the work-flow is further optimized.
