A Paper Anniversary at Mohawk

Thursday 14. March 2013 - Did you know that the traditional gift for your first wedding anniversary is paper? Alex, a Brooklyn resident and London native, did and decided to give his wife Stefanie a gift that was just that. His gift? A surprise tour of Mohawk's Cohoes mill.

Alex reached out to us early last week through Mohawk Connects to see if he could schedule a visit and a tour of our facility. He heard about Mohawk through our partner Moo and wanted to surprise his wife with this paper themed trip. After hearing about how he wanted to celebrate this first anniversary, how could we resist helping him out? We couldn’t. Our marketing team coordinated with Alex all week to make his paper dream a reality. (And little did he know, they were the talk of the office all week!)
Come Saturday afternoon Alex and Stephanie arrived for their tour. Alex had successfully kept the secret until he and Stephanie reached our office. Needless to say, Stephanie was thrilled with the gift.
