The Evolution of the Via Swatchbook

Wednesday 07. November 2012 - The first of Mohawk's evolutionary new swatchbooks is out. The new Mohawk Via swatchbook houses everything you need to see, feel, and specify paper, without the cumbersome elements of traditional swatchbooks.

This new swatcbook system, designed by Michael McGinn Design Office, is a streamlined balance between providing a comprehensive tool with necessary information, maintaining Mohawk’s sustainable focus. The accordion-fold format is compact, yet houses a full product line chip chart, a basis weight waterfall, and a stock chart.
Accordion to designer Michael McGinn, “The new swatchbook program was conceived to be the simplest and most straight forward presentation that Mohawk could make. The new books take the effort of digging for information out of the process. And the entire Mohawk swatchbook line now takes up a third of the shelf space of traditional swatchbooks.”
Swatchbooks for all of Mohawk’ paper grades will be available by the end of November.
