POLAR is presenting new products for paper dealers
Monday 31. January 2011 - POLAR's most recent development is the PickStack restacking station which is fully meeting the expectations of the paper industry.
Since early December the POLAR Customer Center has been presenting a restacking station for unwrapped paper. PickStack commissions unwrapped material automatically and in precise quantities. This new product easily restacks offset sizes of max. 750 x 1,050 mm (one product) or 750 x 525 mm (two products).
Based on its experience gained with the well-established Transomat loading and unloading units, POLAR has developed a very compact and fast-working restacking station which allows to destack two products simultaneously. By using the Chip marker you can even destack a precisely defined amount of material. A special hold-down clamp ensures the precise handling even of smaller formats up to 430 x 430 mm or when dealing with slippery materials. Once the paper has been destacked, it is precisely aligned on three sides, before it is loaded onto a pallet. Even when new or different sizes must be handled no manual intervention is necessary, because formats are automatically adjusted. Four grippers are locking the material and ensure the best possible stacking precision. The Optical Pallet Pointer has been well established since the 2010 IPEX. The OPP makes it much easier to position the unloaded pallet correctly to the stack.
The restacking station is POLAR’s answer to the tendency that printers quite often order the required quantities unwrapped. For such purposes, the PickStack offers a consistent restacking quality which allows direct processing in the printing press.
