GBC presents innovative print finishing solutions at Grafitalia 09
Monday 08. December 2008 - GBC Commercial - market leader in print finishing equipment and consumables, will present innovative finishing solutions for commercial printers at Grafitalia 09.
The GBC stand will be the preferred location for printers looking for unique and clever finishing applications tailored to match their customer requirements and in-house finishing strategies.
Presented at the show will be:
GBC 7580 – This laminating system, ideal for medium and high volume finishing of book covers, folders, brochures and bags, runs at speeds up to 60 m (200 ft.) per minute. A single operator can control all major functions from the systems user-friendly control panel. With a state-of-the-art MABEG feeder and a pneumatically controlled separator, the GBC 7580 moves sheets through the finishing process with precision and efficiency. In addition, the laminator features a 5.5 horsepower drive with a SEW Eurodrive inverter to handle the heavy workloads of todays professional finishers. The 7580 can accommodate sheet sizes from 216 x 280 mm (8.5 x 11 in.) up to 812 x 1020 mm (32 x 40 in.). It runs GBCs high speed commercial films including Digital Lay-Flat, Lay-Flat, Scuff-Free.
The GBC 620os is a single-sided laminating system covering a wide range of applications such as the production of book covers, dust jackets, as well as sheeted gift cards, postcards and business cards. With a maximum speed of 15-m/minute and a maximum sheet size of 52cm width x 74cm length, it is ideally suited for short runs from color printers and offset press.
