Digital Signage an upcoming technology at SGI Dubai 2020

Tuesday 16. April 2019 - Cost-effectiveness, feature-rich and fast reaction times enable companies and authorities to react nearly instantly to changing conditions.

SGI Dubai 2020 show, the biggest and most comprehensive exhibition catering not only to the signage and textile printing markets in the region and beyond, will include digital signage solutions that cater to the fast changing landscape of outdoor and indoor solutions.
The global digital signage market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 8.62% over the forecast period to reach a total market size of US$34.710 billion by 2023, from US$21.140 billion in 2017. Growth is fueled by the retail industry, among others and continuous invention of new applications that require intensive marketing strategies drives demand.
Traditionally signage has been a static display of wayfinding, advertising, posters, schedules, bulletin boards and all kinds of product promotions. All this changed several years ago with the upcoming digital signage technology. Nowadays, digital signage complements the traditional static displays.
Apart from uses by authorities as street signage above motorways to warn of imminent dangers or to announce dynamically changing speed limits, digital signage has made its entrance into many other segments.
Dynamically targeted ads and experiences are also managed remotely; digital signs with tenant listings and dynamic content for offices and receptions; digital menu boards; event and calendar listings with various themes and designs; dynamic updates and displays of flight schedules across airports; information and entertainment of visitors, employees and clients across waiting rooms; promotion of brands and products with dynamic updates; dynamic wayfinding displays that guide the visitors across facilities, buildings and at events are just some of its uses.
Visitors will be able to see and experience digital signage solutions at the 23rd edition of SGI Dubai from January 12-14, 2020 at the World Trade Center.
