TOTAL PFS ADDS NEW COST-EFFECTIVE ENTRY LEVEL CREASER TO ITS PROCREASER SERIES

November 2009 - Total PFS has announced it has expanded its successful Procreaser family of electric and manual creasers with the introduction of the Procreaser A3 - a manual creasing machine aimed at the entry level end of the finishing sector and ideal for inplant or low volume, on-demand print operations. The Procreaser A3 is the latest addition to Totals expansive range of folding and creasing machines which now includes the Procreaser, Procreaser Combi, Procreaser A2 and the top of the range, Procreaser Plus.
Says Clive Richardson, managing director, Total PFS: “The Procreaser range has been very successful for us since we introduced the first of the range to the UK market in 2008. With the Procreaser A3, we now have another excellent manual creasing machine manufactured in Europe to TUV certification and ISO 9001 quality standards.
“At a price point of £295.00+VAT, we also have a product that competes effectively from a pricing perspective with some of the less robust imports coming into the UK market but still offers the user a creaser that will hold up consistently under the pressures of a busy in-plant or on-demand printing business.”
The Procreaser A3 has an all metal construction including a metal crease profile – adjustable to 1.2mm or 1.8mm – and can crease stock up to 400gsm using its Sandvik hardened crease blade. It has a 520mm long work base and a working width of 320mm. The Procreaser A3 offers flip over adjustable paper stops and incorporates a heavy duty spring mechanism and large, tough operating handle. All parts of the A3 creaser are fully recyclable.
