TOTAL PRINT FINISHING SERVICES SIGNS EXCLUSIVE SKREBBA DISTRIBUTION DEAL AND ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF NEW COPYBINDER 5
Thursday 28. August 2008 - Leading independent UK distributor of print finishing equipment and consumables, Total Print Finishing Services (Total PFS), today announced that it has secured an exclusive distribution deal with German stapler manufacturer, Skrebba.
The agreement means that Skrebba’s complete range of staplers is now available from a single supplier in the UK for the first time. Total PFS also confirmed the launch of the new PLANAX Copy Binder 5 from Planatol, also exclusive in the UK to Total PFS.
Skrebba staplers are the latest addition to Total PFS’ extensive range of finishing solutions for high-street copy shops and corporate in-plant print departments. The staplers are robust, reliable and productive, with each meeting the strict German GS standard for quality and the European CE safety standard. The range comprises 19 staplers, including manual and electronic, single- and twin-head versions, with solutions for the flat, clinch, saddle and loop stapling of documents up to 200 pages thick.

Total PFS’ announcement of the launch of the PLANAX Copy Binder 5 from German adhesive expert, Planatol, follows it securing the exclusive UK distributorship for Planatol’s PLANAX range of binding equipment and consumables late last year.
The PLANAX Copy Binder 5 is designed for the quick and easy professional finishing of printed documents from five to 330 pages thick in volumes of up to 200 bindings per hour. Using unique linen Cobi-binding strips, the Copy Binder 5 binds at the touch of a button. Documents finished in this way lie open flat, unaided, with no damage to the spine. An ideal solution for the production and presentation of training manuals and corporate reports, for example.
