Friday 15. May 2009 - German finishing equipment manufacturer, Stago Gmbh, has announced it is introducing a series of customised options for its extensive range of stapling, drilling, punching and jogging equipment.

New customisable options for all Stago machines include special format paper cartridges, contact switch triggers, variable working and sliding table sizes for stapling machines; new variable working depths and heights for drilling machines; customised knives and table sizes for punching machines and foot or hand-switch options for paper joggers. The new customisable range will be exclusively available in the UK from Stago’s UK distributor, Total Print Finishing Services.

Says Clive Richardson, managing director, Total Print Finishing Services: “Stago products have an excellent reputation in the market for build quality and robust, reliable performance in the field and we have a very large install base for the company’s finishing equipment in the UK. These new customisable Stago products are a welcome addition to the company’s current range of machines and I am confident they will generate considerable interest in the market.”

Depending on the complexity of the customised solution required by the client, Mr Richardson says some options can actually be retro-fitted to existing models by Total Print Finishing Services in-situ. “As always, the best approach is to discuss the exact requirements with us and we can work with the manufacturer on behalf of our clients to ensure they get the finishing machine that meets their requirements. This new range of customised finishing equipment is another good example of the benefits of buying from a company that is constantly adapting its products to the market rather than just ‘shifting a box’. As with all Stago products, its new range is also GS / CE certified and built to the highest standards in German engineering.”

Concludes Mr Richardson: “The print industry is changing rapidly and like all sectors of the industry, finishing equipment manufacturers have needed to respond to the market and develop more flexible, bespoke finishing machinery. All companies, whether they are printers or their customers, are looking for an end product with an edge, something that will differentiate itself against the competition. With these new customised solutions, Stago is helping the finishing sector to play its role in meeting these challenges.”
