Each year the Ricoh team work in the same area, John Fisher Park, North Curl Curl. Merlo explained, “By concentrating our efforts in the same areas each year, we are able to see the benefits of our involvement through the reduction in the amount of rubbish collected in successive years.”
“At Ricoh we have taken a hands-on approach to our interaction with the community, designing programs which encourage the involvement of our staff and then embed them into the way we conduct day-to-day business,” she concluded.
Through environmental education, Ricoh strives to raise the awareness of all its employees in order to develop a social viewpoint that enables them to conduct environmental activities on their own.
