Fujifilm launches the Brillia LP-NNW CTP newspaper plate

Newspaper Plate

Thursday 26. June 2008 - Fujifilm today announces the Brillia LP-NNW CTP newspaper plate, a CTP plate specifically developed for the newspaper market. Designed to work with platesetters with a lower laser power, the plate offers excellent press performance.

Manufactured in Tilburg, the LP-NNW plate is a more sensitive plate providing run lengths of up to 200,000 impressions. It is a dedicated high-speed photopolymer plate for violet laser diodes and uses a high sensitivity coating that reduces platesetter production time to prolong its working life. It has superior dot reproduction – less dot gain makes adjustment of the calibration curve easier, guaranteeing consistent printing quality and a sharp dot from highlight to shadow areas throughout the whole print run. A wide exposing latitude also provides a stable dot on press.

The Brillia LP-NNW CTP newspaper plate has simple operating conditions under bright yellow safelight and offers advanced handling performance. It is compatible with UV ink, uses Fujifilm’s MultiGrain technology which optimises the ink/water balance and its extra long developer life means less frequent cleaning, reducing overall maintenance costs.

The LP-NNW plate is available immediately.
