Tipografic Ltd. receives the 7,500th POLAR highspeed cutter ever sold to UK
Tuesday 10. June 2008 - Just in time for drupa the huge Liverpool label printer Tipografic Ltd. have installed their latest LabelSystem
The company which was founded in 1989 has produced with POLAR high-speed cutters from the beginning and has always invested in stateof- the-art-machines. Today Tipografic is one of the leading producers of wet-glue labels within Europe with a production in excess of 3 billion labels per year.
In 2003 the first system for die-cutting labels, a DC-10, was purchased. Quickly followed two years later by a second LabelSystem of the same specification. The core of these systems is an automated cutter POLAR 137 Autotrim M. After cutting the reams to strips and then to single stacks in the Autotrim M the products are transported to an inline diecutter DC and than to a single-head bander BD.
The good experiences with their two LabelSystems and a successful development in die-cutting orders led to ordering the new LabelSystem SC-20. On this system the single stacks are transported to a multi-head bander BM-105. Thus the cutting and banding of square cut labels are also automated.
The Autotrim M on the new LabelSystem is the 7,500st high-speed cutter ever sold to the UK.
