Monday 09. June 2008 - At drupa 2008, the large printer Shanghai Liang Hong Printing Co. Ltd has signed for a POLAR high-speed cutter, which is at the same time the 3,000th high-speed cutter POLAR has been selling in China.

With his 300 employees, Liang Hong specializes in commercial print jobs and package printing. When new machines were purchased in 2001, 2004 and 2007 a POLAR high-speed cutter was the choice in order to meet the rising demand for packaging solutions of luxury products intended for the export to Europe.

The decision in favor of a POLAR was taken in spite of its higher price, because it showed the best results in the cutting tests time after time. Liu Qu Liang the president of Liang Hong has been present at some of these comparison tests. He is absolutely convinced that this was the right decision. “Apart from the machine’s numerous features the most important factor for me is the high precision of the cutting and the productivity of a POLAR even when working 24/ 7. No Chinese suppliers can keep up with it.”

After the foundation of POLAR Postpress Machinery in Shanghai sales figures for POLAR high-speed cutters have substantially risen in China.
