Saturday 07. June 2008 - Heraldo de Aragón - deployer of KBA newspaper technology for the past 111 years

From 14 June to 14 September 2008 a world exhibition entitled “Water and Sustainable Development” will run in the city of Saragossa in northern Spain. More than 100 nations are taking part and over seven million visitors are expected. The official Expo newspaper will be printed at longstanding KBA customer Heraldo de Aragón on the first two towers of a new KBA Commander CT press line that will launch into operation on the opening day.

Heraldo de Aragón has been an all-KBA operation for the past 111 years. It just pipped the New York Daily News at the post as the first newspaper publishing house outside Europe to place an order for this ultra-compact wet offset press. The third Commander CT tower for Spain is one of the many attractions on KBA’s Drupa stand. Yesterday the Heraldo de Aragón management team paid a friendly visit to Düsseldorf and was happy to line up at the tower for a group photo.
