The new high-performance filling and wrapping machine Multipack 8000
from OYSTAR Benhil will make its debut at interpack 2008.
The all-new, double-cell rotary table, which will be exhibited
and demonstrated at booth C 80 in hall 6, raises the bar in sev-eral respects: It is the worlds highest output machine for wrap-ping butter, margarine, lard, and other pasty products in packs of 100 to 500 grams. The double-cell rotary table handles up
to 250 packets per minute and can adapt to an unprecedented number of formats and materials. OYSTAR Benhil is a company of OYSTAR. The Process & Packaging Group. Registered offices of the holding company are in Stutensee near Karlsruhe.
The innovation from OYSTAR Benhil offers many other advantages over its successful predecessor model, the Multipack 8362, all of which increase efficiency considerably. Other highlights include smaller external dimensions and exceptionally short conversion times of less than 45 minutes. Changes to packet height can also be made in just 5 minutes, without the operator having to swap parts.
Another advantage of the Multipack 8000 is its modular structure, which features physical separation of the drive and product-packa-ging areas. This makes it easier to access components during op-eration and when maintenance work is performed. Servo drives are used in the cartoning assembly and to meter products. No-drip, cy-cled metering via elevator cells guarantees optimal filling consis-tency, even when different filling profiles are used. The dispenser can also be cleaned without removing it (clean-in-place principle (CIP).
