ThermoFlexX will use drupa2016 for the worldwide launch of several major additions to its industry-leading product portfolio, including the completely redesigned ThermoFlexX 20 and ThermoFlexX 30 digital flexo plate imagers. Visitors to the stand, which is being shared with the Flint Flexographic products division, will be able to see a dual-head ThermoFlexX 80-D demonstrated with a new pixel-stitching functionality, plus a ThermoFlexX 48-S on-line to an EVO 3 LED exposing unit. Other equipment will include a basysPrint 861x-B, a CTP system for conventional UV plates.
Agfa Graphics has added a new member to its Advantage N platesetter family – the Advantage N-PL. With its ability to image up to 3,100 plates continuously at a throughput speed of up to 400 plates per hour, the newcomer takes computer-to-plate (CtP) productivity and automation to the next level.
High performance flexo CTP will take centre stage on the CRON stand in Hall 5 at drupa, illustrating an important diversification for CRON into flexo packaging and labels. Initially shown as a prototype at Label Expo, CRONs flexo CTP concept has evolved into two commercially available products, both of which are highly competitive in price/performance.
