Esko takes end-to-end packaging experience global after successful interpack debut

Wednesday 05. August 2026 - Following its success at the recent interpack 2026, Esko is bringing its guided From Design to Production Line experience to a global audience through a new webinar that recreates the complete end-to-end packaging journey online.

Developed in collaboration with leading technology partners including CarbonQuota, ePac Flexible Packaging, io.tt, Laetus, Recyda, RegASK and Videojet Technologies, the webinar will give brand owners, packaging suppliers, converters and print professionals the opportunity to experience the connected packaging value chain from anywhere in the world.

“The popularity of the experience at interpack demonstrated just how much interest there is in connected packaging workflows and integrated data management,” said Jan De Roeck, Esko Director of Marketing. “Many visitors told us the experience helped them visualize what a truly connected packaging ecosystem looks like in practice. By taking the experience online, we can now share those insights with packaging professionals worldwide.”

The webinar, From Design to Production Line: The Future of the Packaging Value Chain, builds on the highly successful daily tours where attendees followed the lifecycle of a granola product from initial concept through artwork creation, print production, coding and marking, and ultimately palletization and logistics.

“The webinar showcases how integrated technologies and shared data can help organizations accelerate packaging development, improve compliance, support sustainability objectives and strengthen traceability throughout the packaging lifecycle,” said Jan. “Throughout the session, attendees will discover how packaging data can flow seamlessly across the value chain, helping organizations prepare for emerging industry requirements including PPWR, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) obligations, Digital Product Passport and GS1 Sunrise 2027.”

Participants will be guided through the same four key stages featured at interpack:
Concept & Intelligent Artwork – Exploring how intelligent packaging artwork management enables packaging teams to validate concepts before production; demonstrating AI-powered compliance management, connected sustainability data, recyclability assessments, Digital Product Passport and GS1 Digital Link-compliant packaging.
Printing Process –  Detailing how digital and flexographic print technologies deliver high-quality, sustainable packaging production.
Production Line – Showing how artwork management and late-stage coding, marking, inspection, traceability work together to create a fully connected production environment.
Future-proof Logistics – Demonstrating how pallet optimization improves the carbon footprint and saves logistics costs through end-to-end connected workflows.

“Packaging is no longer a series of siloed or disconnected processes,” added Jan. “The future belongs to organizations that can connect design, compliance, sustainability, production and supply chain operations through shared data and intelligent automation. This webinar provides a practical blueprint for how that future can be achieved today.”

The webinar is designed for professionals involved in packaging development, artwork management, prepress, regulatory compliance, IT infrastructure, sustainability, production operations, marketing, Q&A and supply chain management, whether working for global brand owners, converters, packaging suppliers or print service providers.

The free webinar will be held live on 10 September at 10am EST/4pm CET, and global registration is now open
