H+H realigns strategically and strengthens market presence, service, and technological expertise
Tuesday 24. March 2026 - H+H is strategically reorganizing its activities. The background to this is a consistent focus on fully automated small-format folding systems and equipment, the continued expansion of technological leadership in small-format folding, and the growing demands of the market, particularly in digital printing.
With new solutions such as the T8, H+H demonstrates how these requirements can be translated into powerful, highly automated product concepts.
The aim of the realignment is to further sharpen market focus, clearly assign responsibilities, and efficiently bundle service and support processes. At the same time, the new structure creates the conditions to unlock additional market potential and position H+H even more clearly as a technology partner in the growing automation market.
Key functions in the areas of service, spare parts handling, and operational support will in future be managed by MBO Postpress Solutions and consolidated within appropriate structures. This provides clear organizational responsibility and standardized process management. At the same time, MBO brings together extensive expertise in postpress processing as well as in automation and robotics. Since 2018, the company has consistently invested in related development activities and systematically expanded these competencies.
H+H will continue to maintain a strong presence in the market as a brand. Worldwide, the brand stands for high expertise in small-format folding and highly automated solutions in this specialized segment. This market and product expertise will remain a key component of the joint setup going forward.
For customers and sales partners, Bielefeld will remain the central location for sales and customer support. An experienced team with strong market and product expertise will continue to be available there as a direct point of contact. Close ties to the market, products, and customers will therefore remain unchanged.
MBO contributes its international organization, extensive experience in postpress processing, and expertise in automation and robotics-based solutions to this setup. As part of the Komori Group, the company combines technological strength in printing and postpress with a globally positioned organization and strong industrial capabilities.
As part of the realignment, both existing showrooms will be fully consolidated at the central location in Oppenweiler. The previous production and operational functions have already been integrated into MBO’s structures.
“H+H stands worldwide for high expertise in small-format folding and highly automated solutions in this segment,” says Thomas Heininger, CEO of MBO Postpress Solutions GmbH. “With the realignment, we are creating a clear division of responsibilities and combining H+H’s specialized market and product expertise with MBO’s international organization and process strength.”
