Printronix Welcomes New Chief Financial Officer to Executive Team

Friday 30. October 2009 - Rhonda Longmore-Grund Will Play Important Role in Evolution of Company Growth

Printronix, Inc., a leading industrial and business printing solutions manufacturer, today announced the appointment of Rhonda Longmore-Grund as chief financial officer. She replaces George Harwood, who has retired after 20 years with Printronix.
“We thank George for his service to our organization, and we are pleased to have Rhonda on board to continue George’s strategic financial stewardship of our company,” said Randy Eisenbach, chief executive officer, Printronix. “Rhonda brings to Printronix a complex understanding of the computer peripheral, service and distribution industries. Her knowledge of finance, IT and manufacturing operations will play an important role as we continue to evolve and grow our business worldwide.”
Longmore-Grund has an extensive background in a variety of finance roles. Most recently, she was the vice president of global information systems finance and support services at Ingram Micro. During her six years at Ingram Micro Longmore-Grund was responsible for global IT finance, IT project management and global IT vendor management. She also held the role of director and regional controller within Ingram Micro’s $1 billion Latin American division. Before joining Ingram Micro, she held various executive level financial roles at Digital Equipment Corporation, Exult Inc., PrintNation Inc. and Velocium, an operating company of the former TRW Inc.
Longmore-Grund holds a bachelor of arts in economics and political science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She also holds a master of arts in law and diplomacy in international business relations, international business and economic law and international conflict resolution from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.
In addition, Longmore-Grund is a trustee for the Financial Executives Research Foundation (FERF), a member of the Financial Executive International (FEI) Committee for Finance and Technology and served previously as the area director at large for the Western area of FEI and president of the Orange County, Calif. chapter of FEI.
“Printronix owes George a debt of gratitude for his decades of service and leadership,” Eisenbach said. “During his tenure, he was a key contributor to the growth and success of Printronix, and we wish him well in retirement. I look forward to his continued membership on the board of directors and as an advisor to me.”
Harwood is credited with developing Printronix’s financial and accounting programs, and partnering with the executive leadership team to steer Printronix and ensure continued business viability. Harwood will stay connected to Printronix as a member of the board of directors and a trusted advisor to the executive leadership team.
