POLAR exhibits POLAR 66 X cutter at digi:media 2011
Tuesday 22. March 2011 - The best possible cutting machine for digital printing offers a new option
The first digi:media will take place in Düsseldorf (Germany) from 7 to 9 April 2011 and has been conceived as an innovation fair. Especially for the digital print market digi:media is an attractive complement to the drupa. For that reason, POLAR will be presenting a POLAR 66 X cutting machine in Hall 6 at the stand of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG (B45).
Equipped with a 10.4″ color display the POLAR 66 cutter is specially designed for the needs of the digital printing businesses. This hydraulic machine is mainly used for simple cutting jobs and to handle the 35 × 50 offset class. The P-Net networking concept allows to integrate it into the digital workflow which also ensures a perfect connection to digital printing.
At the digi:media the POLAR 66 X will be equipped with the new barcode scanner, a new option which we also presented at the Hunkeler Innovation Days. It allows specific job data to be read and can automatically call up the appropriate cutting program. This not only saves time, but also helps to avoid mistakes.
POLAR is currently offering POLAR 66 in Germany and various other countries at a special price as of 14,990 euros.
