STEPHEN JONES, HEAD OF SALES & MARKETING

Thursday 22. April 2010 - Aylesford Newsprint, manufacturers of 100% recycled newsprint have announced the appointment of Stephen Jones as their Head of Sales & Marketing. Stephen has replaced Mike Pankhurst who took early retirement after 16 years of service at Aylesford.

Stephen brings with him to this position 20 years experience in the paper industry having worked at Holmen Paper UK as their Sales Director in the UK for the past 4 years and prior to that with a national paper merchant.

Commenting on his new role Stephen has said “This is an exciting opportunity for me to work at Aylesford, which has a strong and enviable position in the market place and although it would be an understatement to say that the newsprint market at present is certainly a difficult one, I look forward to the challenges of working here and strengthening Aylesford Newsprint’s role within the industry. We make a strong and consistent product and are working hard at present to expand our product portfolio to meet the changes and demands of an ever evolving market”.
