GREENSOLVE ON BOARD TO COLLECT FROM CHARITY BANKS ACROSS EAST KENT

Tuesday 09. June 2009 - Charity paper banks in Kent continue to provide a popular route for recycling. Ensuring that the banks are emptied regularly and are well maintained is part and parcel of this service. With these criteria in mind, Aylesford Newsprint Ltd has awarded Tonbridge-based waste management and recycling services company Greensolve Ltd the contract to collect paper from the mill’s 300 east Kent paper banks.

Greensolve has been working with Aylesford for several months, and already an excellent partnership is evident. Under the new five year contract the company will be responsible for all of Aylesford’s 1100 litre paper banks located at public sites including schools, charities, commercial businesses and other organisations.

The company will collect from a wide range of sites throughout east Kent including Folkestone, Dover, Ramsgate, Whitstable, Margate, Canterbury, Maidstone, Ashford, New Romney, Deal and Lydd. All of the paper collected will be delivered directly to the Maidstone mill.

Speaking about the relationship, Richard Booth, Commercial Director of Greensolve, said: “we’re very happy to have been awarded this prestigious contract which gives us a long-term relationship with Aylesford Newsprint and is an extension of our existing recycling activities. This service ensures long-term recycling options for all sectors of the community.”
