Color Copy qualified for Xeikon digital duplex presses
Thursday 18. March 2010 - Mondi, one of the worlds largest manufacturers of paper and packaging, announces that its colour laser paper Color Copy has been qualified for Xeikon digital duplex presses.
Mondi has thereby entered into a new substrate qualification agreement with Xeikon, a division of Punch Graphix, which guarantees that Color Copy will provide a perfect print quality, stable printing behaviour and no curl or stacking problems on Xeikon digital presses. For Xeikon machines Color Copy is now available with a specifically set smoothness and moisture level and is available in both small and large reel diameters, making it highly suitable for a wide variety of applications.
“Color Copy has long been used successfully on Xeikon machines, but with the now official qualification printers have the advantage that Color Copy is available via the script files on Xeikon machines or available as a download from the Xeikon homepage. This means that all the Color Copy specific technical specifications are automatically available now at the touch of a button,” explains Johannes Klumpp, Marketing & Sales Director for Mondi Uncoated Fine Paper.
Mondis Color Copy is Europes leading digital colour laser paper. Color Copy has a special surface treatment which enhances its colour reproduction and provides sharp prints. With an excellent track record on high performance printers, it has also proved to have less wear and tear on machinery. Mondi is currently working toward obtaining Xeikon approval for additional paper qualities.

“Xeikon has taken todays market requirements and challenges into consideration and developed a total transactional printing solution. Their machines bring new possibilities to the market – and with a paper such as Color Copy, guarantee a high impact print result,” concludes Klumpp.
