FIFTH ORDER IN FIVE YEARS FROM XINHUA NEWS AGENCY WITH Q.I. PRESS CONTROLS

Monday 29. June 2009 - For the fifth time in five years, Q.I. Press Controls has been awarded the order to deliver automatic register control equipment to Xinhua News Agency.

Xinhua News Agency Printing is one of the leading, world known, newspaper printing facilities in China. It publishes more than thirty titles amongst which prominent newspapers such as the CanKaoXiaoXi Evening News and the Beijing Evening News. The facility has a young fleet of cold set web-offset presses. On completion of this latest installation on their new Seiken 65 press, Xinhua News Agency Printing will have a total of 36 IRS cameras throughout its whole fleet of web offset presses. The cameras will be used daily for automatic colour register and cut-off register controls.

Press Controls’ IRS solution. The installation of the IRS on the fourth Seiken 65 is planned for August this year,” Paul Yu concludes.
