GEW ENERGY SAVING UV SYSTEM PARTNERS CLEMSON
Tuesday 16. June 2009 - GEW has donated a seven-lamp ECP UV system with e-brick electronic power supplies to aid research and development activities at Clemson Universitys new Sonoco Institute of Packaging Design and Graphics.
“In addition to supporting the educational missions of Clemsons Graphic Communications and Packaging Science programs, the Sonoco Institute of Packaging Design and Graphics is playing an active role in driving packaging innovation in four key areas,” says Director, Chip Tonkin. “These include printed electronics, sustainability, consumer experience and holistic package design workflow. The ability to work with UV cureable inks is an integral part of many of these research and education goals and we are very excited to have GEW as a partner in this endeavour”.
