Glöckler GmbH: New CoronaCompact CC12 Perfect Binder Inaugurated At Major Open House Event

Monday 01. June 2009 - The new Muller Martini CoronaCompact CC12 perfect binder was officially inaugurated by Brüder Glöckler GmbH & Co KG in Wöllersdorf, Austria, at an open house event attended by over 100 customers and guests. The CoronaCompact CC12 is equipped to tackle an extremely diverse range of customer requirements.

Hubert Schneider, mayor of Wöllersdorf-Steinabrückl, was visibly proud as he gave his opening speech, revealing that “our village is home to the largest bookbindery in Austria”. He called the new investment a “key milestone” for the future prosperity of the company. Sonja Zwazl, president of the Lower Austria economic chamber BR KommR, also went on to emphasise this point: “It is good to see that even in the current economic situation there are companies still willing to invest in the future. And this is the best place for it to happen – the Lower Austrian economy has been on a successful path for years.”

Muller Martini Partner for 26 Years
Brüder Glöckler GmbH & Co KG, which has been putting its trust in Muller Martini systems since 1983 (one year after it was founded), is also following the path to success. According to Roland Henn, Managing Director of Muller Martini Austria: “The successful partnership with us is without doubt a key factor in the company’s success.”

The new CoronaCompact CC12 is the seventh Muller Martini perfect binder put to use by the Glöckler Group, which also includes G.G. Buchbinderei in Hollabrunn and Buchbinderei Neudörfl. In addition to the perfect binder with a latest-generation gathering machine, the Group’s production machinery also includes the EasyFly front trimmer, splitting saws, an Orbit three-knife trimmer, a CB18 counter stacker and various other highlights featuring state-of-the-art technology.

And Michael Thüler (Managing Director of Felben-based Muller Martini Bookbinding Systems) had a little surprise tucked up his sleeve: He presented the Glöckler father-and-son team with a taste of Switzerland – a magnificent cowbell that will take pride of place in the company premises.
