Bemis Company Names Ullem Vice President of Finance
Monday 03. November 2008 - Bemis Company, Inc. (NYSE: BMS) announced today that its Board of Directors has elected Scott Ullem as Vice President of Finance, reporting to Gene Wulf, Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Ullem joined Bemis earlier this month from Bank of America, where he was co-Head of Diversified Industries in Bank of America's Global Corporate & Investment Banking Division.
“Scott has extensive investment banking experience at Bank of America and Goldman Sachs,” said Henry Theisen, President and Chief Executive Officer of Bemis Company. “His business analysis experience and expertise in corporate finance will be valuable additions to our management team. We look forward to his contributions.”
Ullem worked at Bank of America from 2005 to 2008. Prior to Bank of America, he spent 14 years at Goldman Sachs in New York and Chicago, most recently as a Managing Director in their Investment Banking Division. Scott received his Bachelor of Arts degree from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana and his Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Business School. He is a Crown Fellow at the Aspen Institute and a former Adjunct Professor of Finance at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
