Oriflame scores with a new masculine duo from Gerresheimer

Wednesday 29. October 2008 - An elegant, classic style is characteristic of the appearance of the perfume series ‘Eclat’. It also distinguishes the two new men’s fragrances which Swedish cosmetics firm Oriflame is bringing onto the market. Gerresheimer presents the clear glass bottles for ‘Eclat for men’ and ‘Eclat Sport for men’ at the Luxe Pack in Monaco (28-31 October, 2008, Stand RC 14).

The only visual differences between the two fragrances are the shade, the text, and the respective atomising caps. “Even such subtle modifications can be enough to give the image of two very different personalities – like here,” says Burkhard Lingenberg, Director of Corporate PR and Marketing at the Gerresheimer Group. So, ‘Eclat Sport’s’ combination of blue and steel perfectly sets off its cool, fresh style – in contrast to the second variation, whose golden yellow contents and delicate gold tone for stopper and lettering exude a genuine warmth.

The angular shape with its almost square face and absolutely straight edging on the sides and base give the bottle superior weight. At the same time, this duo also has a lively side: a gentle lift balances the stern geometrical shape subtly yet effectively. The shoulder section rises in the centre to an elegant arc which lifts with it the crowning glory, the richly designed stopper, a little higher. The ease with which this feature sets off the angular form is further emphasised by a parallel wave in the bottom of the bottle: here, the curve of the glass in the interior perfectly mirrors the soft lift of the shoulders.

Clear lines – that certain something: with this perfect blend, the design of the new masculine duo is another certain winner. Even individually.
