KBA user Print Plaza wins two CIPPI Awards

The CIP4 International Print Production Innovation Award is one of the most prestigious in the industry. So Düsseldorf online service provider Print Plaza was all the more delighted to carry off two of these coveted awards – one in the category “Most innovative use of process automation technology in an implementation” and the other for the “Best process automation implementation”.
The ultimate objective of all the services and systems for process optimisation and automation that KBA offers in tandem with KBA Complete is to maximise customer efficiency and profitability.. The benefits for Print Plaza have been twofold: market success and a satisfied clientele.
Although KBA presses are not the only ones it runs, Print Plaza opted for the flexibility of the web shop system provided by KBA Complete’s alliance partner Hiflex, which customised its software package to accommodate this print provider’s specified production scenario. With this system it is possible to generate a printed product almost instantaneously from multiple individual components, eg page count, colour content, paper type, coating and finishing specs. This exceptionally high degree of flexibility and individuality allows Print Plaza to offer its clients services that are equally flexible and individual, delivering added value that other online printers are unable to match. Print Plaza’s repertoire now embraces over 160,000 products, and if necessary can easily be extended beyond the existing palette of flyers, business cards, brochures, folders and giant posters.
