Thursday 05. June 2008 - A bit of political elbow-rubbing is on the agenda at drupa: Plauen’s mayor, Ralf Oberdorfer, and Augsburg’s mayor, Dr. Kurt Gribl, are expected at the manroland stand. They want to see for themselves the groundbreaking show put on by one of the largest employers in each city.

“The enthusiasm of manroland’s women and men for their industry is outstanding. That alone is one reason not to miss the Olympics of the printing industry,” says Gribl. Oberdorfer says: “Newspaper printing and newspaper technology are better than ever before. The newspaper makes an experience out of every information.”

For 14 days in Düsseldorf manroland is going to show how print sets the world in motion. 1971 exhibitors from 52 countries expect about 400,000 visitors from all over the world at drupa that is one of the world’s largest trade shows. manroland presents itself to its guests on its 4,000 square meters booth in hall 6.
