Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group (GCG) Europe Africa and Middle East Region Headquarters relocate to La Hulpe in Belgium

Friday 11. January 2008 - New location provides enhanced facilities for customers and employees

In a move designed to provide better facilities for customers and staff alike, the headquarters of Kodak’s GCG in EAMER (Europe, Africa and Middle East Region) have relocated to La Hulpe, a short drive from the previous base at Waterloo.
The new office is ideally placed to provide excellent transport connections throughout Belgium and links to the international airport and Eurostar terminals. It has one and a half times the floor space that was available at Waterloo, allowing for an expanded demonstration facility for customers.
Bertrand Decoux, Managing Director for Kodak’s Graphic Communications Group, EAMER, comments, “We are very excited to have relocated to new premises, as we believe that this provides us with an opportunity not only to have improved working conditions for our staff but also to service our customers to an even higher level than before. The demo centre will provide even more functionality than we had at our Waterloo offices, and will be kitted out with the very latest products.”
The transfer of the EAMER demonstration centre to its new location has allowed for an expansion of Kodak equipment on show. Alongside everything that was available in Waterloo it will also house the complete range of KODAK Computer-to-Plate Solutions from the most basic to the bigger and more complex systems. The complete Unified Workflow suite of products with live MIS connectivity, together with an assortment of both KODAK NEXPRESS Digital Production Color Presses and KODAK VERSAMARK Printing Systems, will be fully operational; and the entire range of color management and proofing software will also be available.
The move to La Hulpe brings together employees that were previously located at various bases throughout Belgium. A completely up-to-date IT infrastructure and custom designed offices will provide employees with an enhanced working experience.
