In order to improve the quality- and efficiency level of the production process, Gmähle Rollen-Offset Druck in Waiblingen, a subsidiary of Scheel Print-Medien GmbH, decided to replace the current register system on the KBA Compacta 101 by the Intelligent Register System (IRS) of Q.I. Press Controls.
