Sankei Shimbun is replacing six existing double-width presses with the purchase of four Goss Newsliner 90 presses at its Hokusetsu Center printing facility in Osaka.

USA TODAY Remains Top-Selling Newspaper in the United States

USA TODAY remains the top-selling newspaper in the United States, according to the latest Audit Bureau of Circulation report. USA TODAY’s daily circulation was up 0.27% to 2,284,219 for the period ending March 31, 2008. USA TODAY is the only newspaper of the top 25 daily newspapers in the U.S. to have an increase in print circulation.

The Dallas Morning News Releases Latest Figures on Audience Growth and Circulation

The Dallas Morning News announced today the release of new readership figures, as provided by Scarborough Research, for the twelve-month period ending February 2008, showing weekly readership of the printed newspaper in the four-county area combined with non-duplicated audiences of dallasnews.com and supplemental targeted products Al Dia and Quick, has risen to 1,756,089, representing a 4% increase compared with the prior year, and a market penetration of more than 65%. During the same period, readership of The Dallas Morning News newspaper alone rose slightly compared with the prior year to 1,524,678.
