GAMA International will launch its G1000 automatic ink quality control system at K 2019 in Dusseldorf, 16th-23rd October, at Hall 10, stand H26. For the company, the G1000 represents its top of the ink control systems line, fully customizable.

Seiko Epson Corporation (TSE: 6724, Epson) is opening a new collaborative inkjet laboratory at its Fujimi Plant in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. Called the Fujimi Inkjet Innovation Lab, the facility will begin operations in October. Epson will use the Fujimi Inkjet Innovation Lab to conduct joint research with a wide range of research institutes and companies that are looking to apply inkjet technology in industrial processes.
At K 2019, Leonhard Kurz will be demonstrating the automated integration of touchscreen sensors into plastic parts. The sensors will be applied to a white goods control panel using Kurzs patent pending FFB (Functional Foil Bonding) process. The process was presented for the first time at Fakuma 2018 and is now being adopted in series production applications. A semi-rotary variant of FFB will be displayed at the Kurz booth for the first time.
