Sun Chemical to increase prices for Sheetfed & UV products in Europe

Sun Chemical Europe today announced that a 5-10% price increase will be implemented for its Sheetfed and UV products effective 1 July 2010. Critical raw material shortages for acrylic acid, epoxy resins, gum rosin, etc. are affecting the entire print industry as well as other industries reliant on the same materials. These shortages together with significant raw material price increases have necessitated a price change within Sun Chemicals Sheetfed & UV markets.

Sun Chemical announces price increases for the publications market

Sun Chemical Europe today announced that prices of its products in the publications marketplace will increase between 10 and 20% from 1 July this year. The increases are in response to raw material shortages and increased raw material costs that are affecting a large percentage of the printing inks industry.
