In January Glunz & Jensen launched a new series of CtP plate processors – Gecko. Gecko is a very simple CtP plate processing platform, which can be used by most printers on the market today – especially printers who are looking for ways to optimise their press rooms and get started with true CtP.

Now, the Sioux Falls, S.D.-based folding carton producer is set to host the nations first installation of a Suprasetter 162 VLF CtP system to support its new VLF press. Both the press and the platesetting device are scheduled to be installed in April 2010.
Glunz & Jensen announced today that it has signed an agreement with Singapore Press Holdings Ltd (SPH), through Agfa Graphics to upgrade the complete pre?press production at SPH Print Centre in Singapore. In the coming months, Glunz & Jensen will install 10 automated lines of Glunz & Jensen online CtP processors, punch/benders and central stacking systems, making SPH Print Centre one of the largest automated newspaper sites in the world.
