Stockport printer TR Shone has replaced a CtP system from Apex with a Suprasetter A52 device from Heidelberg. The purchase is funded through a consumables deal enabling the company to draw off Saphira Chem-free plates to meet the demands of a short run, response business.
Risa Blythe, founder of Girlie Press, Inc. in Seattle, Wash., admits her company was “happy” with the results from an older, competitive CtP systemright up until it installed a two-up Suprasetter A52 thermal platesetter with Prinect workflow from Heidelberg in January.
