The mood is good on Fujifilm today and the rough weather and windy conditions have passed. Speaking to Alex earlier, he said: “Getting around the ice gate was a living hell! I’ve now changed course to the North West towards the finish. We are doing some fast sailing – about 30-35 knots and for the past 4-5 hous, it’s been a different type of full on. It’s been really exciting.”

Toppan Printing (hereafter Toppan Printing; Head office: Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo; President & CEO: Naoki Adachi) held Toppan Charity Concerts on Friday the 8th and Saturday the 9th of February, 2008 and donated takings of JPY2,864,190, to the Japan Association for UNHCR, a specified non-profit organization.

Staples, Inc. Commences Cash Tender Offer for Corporate Express U.S. Finance Inc.’s Senior Subordinated Notes Due 2014 and 2015

Staples, Inc. (Nasdaq: SPLS) and its wholly owned subsidiary, Staples Acquisition B.V., today announced that Staples Acquisition B.V. has commenced a cash tender offer to purchase all of Corporate Express U.S. Finance Inc.’s (formerly known as Buhrmann U.S. Inc.) outstanding 8.25 percent Senior Subordinated Notes due July 1, 2014 (the “2014 Notes”) and 7.875 percent Senior Subordinated Notes due March 1, 2015 (the “2015 Notes”), on the terms and subject to the conditions set forth in its Offer to Purchase and Consent Solicitation Statement, dated May 22, 2008 and the related Consent and Letter of Transmittal.

St Ives Contributes to Channel 4 Sculpture

On 12th May Channel 4 unveiled its new sculpture outside its Head Office in Victoria. It commissioned El Anatsui, a well renowned artist, to build the sculpture with used printing plates to create a 50 ft high logo entitled ‘News’.
