Wednesday 20. May 2009 - At Fespa Mimaki Europe is showcasing inkjet solutions for everyone. The leading large format inkjet company will present UV, solvent and dye sublimation products for all kinds of applications.

Mimaki Engineering, a leading manufacturer of wide-format inkjet printers and cutting machines for the sign/graphics, textile/apparel and industrial markets, will exhibit its broad portfolio of large format inkjet printers at booth (B70 & C65) at Fespa Digital in Amsterdam.

Among the exhibits visitors will see the recently introduced JV33-260. This super wide format printer model was recently added to Mimaki’s best selling and award winning JV33 family of printers. JV33-260 will be displayed with the new AMF (Automatic Media Feeder) exerting exact tension control over the whole printing width of 2.6 m even when using roll-based substrates of up to 100 kg. The AMF is included as standard.

Further the recently introduced and highly successful CJV30 Series integrated print and cut solutions will be on display. The unique range (60, 100, 130, 160cm) brings great choice and flexibility for signmakers, copyshops, screenprinters and other print companies. This unique CJV30 series is designed by uniting Mimaki’s legendary and state-of-the-art inkjet and cutting technologies as a leading manufacturer in the industry. Mimaki has an established solution, for consecutive contour cutting using the JV33 Series and the CG-FX or CG-SR Series with the continuous crop mark detection function. The system is widely used for decals, vehicles, seals & labels, POP displays and T-shirt decorations. The CJV30 Series is an integrated print and cut device that will automatically contour cut without any steps in between. Further it delivers a seamless workflow based upon Mimaki’s long experience and expertise in print & cut. The integrated device fits in small office spaces and comes at an affordable price. The Continuous Crop Mark Detection function can deliver high productivity even when lamination is required. When substrates are re-set for lamination after printing, an optical sensor enables automatic consecutive detection of crop marks thereby enabling precise contour cutting by aligning each image automatically.
The JV5 Series, also at display, excels in producing vivid accurate images with speeds of up to 40 sqm/h and is widely chosen for its productive features such as the staggered head arrangement, Uninterrupted Ink Supply System (UISS), nozzle failure detection and high print quality.

In addition visitors will find samples of dye-sublimation printing as well as print samples of the new, also award winning, TPC-1000 for apparel printing. TPC-1000 provides for high quality prints and streamlined production of various designed print and cut jobs in small as well as long print runs. Thus customers can broaden their current businesses easily by expanding into new markets. When printing on transfer media the design can be accurately cut and then placed on the media for transfer.

As a pioneer in cutting plotters designed for sign making and graphic arts, Mimaki will also showcase the new highly competitively priced CG-SRII Series, available in two sizes (1070 and 1370 mm). This Series combines new functionalities with uncompromising cutting capabilities to offer customers great value at an affordable price. The machine is equipped with an optical sensor for accurate contour cutting as well as the new RSC function. The RSC (Real time Stroke Control) function detects cutting strokes during cutting and adjusts the strength of the strokes, thus maintaining constant cutting pressure.

“We are extremely pleased to be able to offer our customers such a wide ranging inkjet portfolio employing all state-of-the-art inkjet technologies. Thus our customers can choose among the best products without having to change manufacturers or software. This enables print service providers to streamline their production efficiently while always working in the same environment, saving time, money and personnel”, says Sakae Sagane, Managing Director Mimaki Europe.
