Mimaki debut 3D printer

Thursday 16. October 2008 - Mimaki USA to show a new, revolutionary, and innovative 3 Dimensional UV curable inkjet printer called "SOLID PRINTER SP-303" at SGIA 2008.

MIMAKI ENGINEERING CO., LTD., Japan is proud to introduce the new & innovative 3D UV curable inkjet printer at booth #405 at SGIA 08 in Atlanta from October 15 – 18th, 2008.
The SP-303 printer will have the following attributes:
– Printable shapes: Ball (Sphere), Helmet (Hemi-sphere), Flying disc etc.

Basic shapes such as pillar shape, cone and their complex shapes are also possible.

– Basically, the printable area is either for a flat or convex surface. (The side of the print object which is connected to the printer arm is not printable.)

– Printable area: Min. 75mm in radius hemi-sphere or 75mm in radius cylinder
Max. 380mm in diameter 300mm in height cannon shape

– Print speed: Approximately 16 minutes (300mm in diameter hemi-sphere,
600dpi, 4 pass, (reference value)

– Number of colors: Max. 6 (CMYK + White + Clear)

– Ink type: Flexible UV ink

– UV lamp: UV LED lamp
