Create your own Inflatable
Thursday 28. May 2009 - The creation of inflatable advertising has become as easy a breeze. Anyone can produce their own inflatable with just a few tools.
All you need is a printer, sewing machine, the Airpromoter by Best System and MediatexPresto by Junkers & Müllers.
The Airpromotor is a 48cm small ventilator used for the inflation of advertising media. Internal lighting can be individually programmed via three LED lights of different colours. At Best System, the people behind this ventilator were determined to develop a system that would be easy to operate, at an attractive price, usable with any printer and could be flexible in its use at a variety of locations.
Stefan Brunauer is responsible for sales at Best System and is delighted to have found a partner in Junkers & Müllers that can supply fabrics of the appropriate quality: “We tested a range of fabrics but the print brilliance, workability and overall fabric quality of Mediatex simply stood out. Textiles that are often transported to different locations can easily develop white brittle when folded – but this is not the case with the fabrics by Junkers & Müllers.”
Actually two of the textile manufacturers fabrics are particularly suited for this type of application: MediatexPresto and MediatexStarlight. Both materials are soil resistant, airtight, can be cut hot or cold without frilling and are easy to stretch.
The textile is simply fitted with Velcro tape where it will be attached to the Airpromotor and before inflation can be easily fastened to the ventilator.
The fabric can be sewn with any standard sewing machine without the need for any further gluing or sealing of seams.
All in all, this is a system that really enables anyone to produce their very own inflatable advertising.
MediatexPresto and MediatexStarlight – like all fabrics by Junkers & Müllers – are PVC-free and certified in accordance with the Oekotex Standard 100 IV.
